What is the plan for next season after this pathetic excuse of a season ?

Given Alan Smith's attitude to this season... A average mid-table season in the CCL Premier till about December, playing at the Dog Poo ground Cobham. Then gets bored, sacks the manager, replaces him with a dummy who has barely won an argument, and watches alongside the last half dozen supporters left as Swans suffer another relegation to CCL division 1. What are the odds on that...!

I went tonight and it's sad to see this happen. Contrary to some comments that were made towards me tonight,I never wanted to see Walton get relegated,EVER!!. And I'm not happy that they have been relegated either. I have watched Walton for quite a few seasons now and I even gave my time helping with the turnstiles etc at first team games aswell as youth games for many years. I remember many a game standing out in the freezing cold helping the club out. So to some people who think I don't care then you are so far from the truth. Why would I give up my time if I didn't care? Yes I haven't been to a game since November but the sacking of tony Reid was the final straw for me. One man is to blame for the relegation of the club. I'm not blaming the volunteers of the club or the players, just one man. I thought I would never see the day that Walton would be relegated, but it's happened, A very sad day indeed.

We can only hope Mike!. But only if we can get a ground of our own. Could be the last game I will have ever seen at stompond lane what with cobham beckoning next season. That was a hush at the final whistle tonight. You could of heard a pin drop.

I know your all disappointed to get relegated (who wouldn't be) but from reading all the comments about the CCL that have been made by various supporters on here I'm not impressed by the lack of respect shown to the CCL league.
With all due respect Molesey & South Park have gone in to the Rymans South from the CCL and have shown that they can cope at Step 4 (and have in fact faired far better than you).
So knowing that these negative comments are being seen by various people involved with the CCL I would show some more respect to the league.
Also to some of your supporters who say they wouldn't follow your team to step 5 and would go elsewhere would make me wonder what kind of supporters they really are as you are meant to follow your team through the good times and the bad.

Well it is heartbreaking and I don't know what will happen next but nothing is forever and as quickly as we fall we can rise again others have .

Dear scrccl and anyone else reading our forum from the CCL
Please don't think that we are commenting disrespectfully on the CCL, I think I can speak on behalf of a lot of fans and say that is not our intention.
Swans have been in the Isthmian League for over 40 years and it is a hard blow to have been relegated, we are all just expressing our frustration with this season (and very probably many seasons) and with our Chairman.
If any offence has been caused you have my apologies and I would hope the same from other Swans fans.

Its absolutely nothing to do with going down to the CCL. I remember years ago there was a Ryman 2 and 3 (before 1 was North and South I think) and it really is no different to that.
It's whether we will actually have a club at all (next season or the one after) that concerns us and why we are all so unhappy. I went through this with my other team Pompey a few years ago with an owner who bled the club for everything he could. It felt like a slow death and would have been better to just close the club than watch it be destroyed totally. Fortunately Pompey was saved by the fans and while I can't expect a similar takeover here, we have to hope that something good comes of it.
Everyone has different thoughts to how they will support the club. I won't be going to Cobham. I would now support a merger between the two Walton clubs. I won't start supporting Casuals instead of Swans.
I have so many questions to ask Alan Smith, and the first one would be what does he actually want to happen?

Again, no disrespect at all to CCL. Relegation is part of life. My despair is at how the Club is being run.
If we did go to Cobham, which seems unlikely, that's it for me, regardless. A merged club? Not for me: good luck to those who choose that route, but it's not for me.
How can we get rid of Alan Smith? Only with a seriously rich benefactor who can buy him out and buy enough of the remaining shares, as he only has 33%. I guess I'll just have to keep hoping the big Premium Bond comes up.

I hear there's a good chance the 3 deducted points may be returned, as with Nuneaton... meaning the Swans aren't down yet.
