Ours and their Cup Final to date.
They will be a tough nut to crack but i feel we have the players and squad now to test any team in this league. Alex Kelly is back to his best. Our 2 wingers are a nuisance and can turn a game. Josh Tobin had been impressive. Johl has settled in nicely now and can score goals. I can go through the whole team and say they are all doing us proud over the last few games and probably our strongest team since the Halcyon days of Alan Batsford and Don Stoker. Scotty, Bill, squad,Management, Fans just bring home those 3 precious points................NO PRESSURE!

Massive game, for sure. A draw will keep us in the mix, I fear a loss will make the playoffs beyond us. Worth noting that both of us have Totten away to come. Merthyr play them penultimate game of the season, which will be very intriguing.

Obviously this game is a massive 6 pointer, but whatever the result I feel there’s enough games for there to be a few twists and turns before the end of the season.

I think if we lost and were 4 points behind Merthyr, with them still having a game in hand, it would be a tough ask with 6 games to go. While I wouldn’t say it’s a “must win” I don’t think we can afford to lose or draw 🙄

Morning all. Irishswan, i think your right. If we did come away without the points we could still scrape into the play offs as i calcule after the results of all the remaining games we could just end up 1 point ahead of the others in 5th place at the end of the season but lets make it easier and see off Merthyr this afternoon. Going for a 3-1 win for The Mighty Swans!

So, so unlucky! Just watched the game on livestream and we were by far the better team for most of the game. Two kicked off the line and one crashed against the underside of the bar and somehow scrambled clear. Very, very unlucky!

We were outstanding today from front to back and can’t believe we didn’t win it!! Almost feels two points dropped but it keeps the season going and on to Thursday.

Probably one of the better performances of the season today both in terms of effort and quality….much more direct movement a lot better getting ball into box….still missing a finisher …but yes as pointed out could have been 4 or 5
One mistake on back post gifted Merthyr a goal , bit of schoolboy defending….and for some reason W&H kept hitting corners to an imaginary 8 foot giant at the back post …..must have been ..half a dozen crosses sailed to no one
But good result keeps the team firmly in the mix …3 points on Thursday would push the team into playoffs going into Easter weekend
Oh and that pitch at Merthyr looked perfect……bit different from 50 years ago was like treacle liberally sprinkled with sand

We were excellent and hitting top form at the perfect time - win all our games and we make the play offs - simple, no pressure 🙂🦢🦢

So impressive. The team, squad and management should be proud of their performance. The Merthyr manager stated “Walton were the better team in possession with no doubt. There an excellent team and by far the best footballing team in this division” That team yesterday is our strongest so hope Goughie is fit for Thursday. Look at our bench too. All good enough to play I’m most sides in this division. Our last 3-4 signings have made such a difference. Great to see Ujkaj one the score sheet. Our unsung hero,,
