Everyone connected with the club regardless of when that connection started should look back a few years and just “ feel” where the whole organization has come from to where it is today i went through “footballwebpages” because it tracks attendances and going back 6 or 7 seasons to when a 100 fans at a game was a good attendance….and that included games against Dorking (95) and Molesley(115) and Casuals….( 102)…..
Whilst it might not seem so these are giddy heights indeed …where if a gate is below 500 ( and average is about 570) it must be the weather
The ground actually looks like a decent ground…the team is out there trying to play football week in and week out, players and management seem to be able to stand up and be accountable …and whilst I have no idea of any of the finances I am assuming we are sustainable….the addition of live streaming of games is huge
At this level player retention will always be an issue clubs seem to be in perpetuity rebuild….but congratulations to everyone involved in the current set up regardless of role…you have every right to feel proud Hope everyone has a great Easter and 6 points would not go amiss

In the not too distant past It wasn’t unusual to go through 60 players in a season and if I remember rightly one season we went through 100 players were players would be introduced to each other just before a match, program team sheets were out of date by the time of match day, even the most avid supporter couldn’t keep up with the revolving door of players, So refreshing and shows stability in the club that we have a really settled team where players want to play for the badge.

Akso to have a board that fully supports Scotty/Bill with budget and with littel interference which is so disimilar to the previous Chairman who had little idea of man management or football!!

Yes johnyswan it was a period under the previous chairman we had ups and downs ,and other chairman in the past mistakes were made and we are now lucky to have good young positive owners and supurb management team and players ,whatever happens between now and end of season it will be exciting ,and without the previous chairman we wouldn't have survived to have these positive moments we are enjoying so much ,

I know the previous Chairman wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea and probably had his own agenda/interests as regards the ground redevelopment (The Lane) but he did keep us ticking over or treading water at a run down stadium where it was very difficult to get any kind of sponsorship let alone proper investment/support from local companies, some may say he held us back some will say he ran the club into near extinction, but I feel there were few alternatives at that time.

The previous chairman certainly wasn't everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure! But let's not look back, let's look forward!
