Couple of new strikers have come in, haven’t seen him in a few weeks…

Heard he's gone out on loan to Carshalton Thank you. Do you (or anyone here) know how the players ‘contracts’ work? I’m guessing it’s pay per play with x for a starter and y for a sub and players and club can give zero notice at any moment? However on loan to Carlshalton would suggest a contract with us. Very intriguing.

He was on the bench yesterday and came on after 63 minutes. Carshalton drew away to Folkestone.

Years ago everyone had an “ agreement “ usually a weekly amount …sometimes + equipment…goalie gloves…boots …etc then there was a win or draw “bonus” fiver for a win 2 for a draw ……in addition I played in places where we had a “ crowd bonus” …Old Southern league ……on the road there was a “Travel allowance” ….most trips were by coach and sometimes home clubs provided food but more often than not there was a stop for food on way back and this allowance covered that Southern League even then had some decent road trips Money is different today it’s got silly a lot of clubs are hanging on by finger nails…and what happened to Casuals is a harbinger of those problems …. How are Kingstonian surviving on less than 200 at games…..no idea what Waltons break even is but I bet it’s close to a 500 average
Good luck on Saturday
