As I only watched online I'll wait for those that were at the game to comment
Biting my tongue but words like dreadful, abysmal, clueless come to mind, we are going backwards with this type of display.. and rapidly down the League ... over to others that were actually there ?

Can only agree with your comments Mike. Swans shot themselves in the foot - twice - again! Surely this has got to stop. Conceding possession in your own half time and again can only lead to disaster and that's what happened this afternoon. We got away with it a few times aa well. Losing at home to a side as ordinary as Basingstoke is shameful.
Basingstoke opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Swans were caught out again playing out from the back.
Ten minutes later Swans equalised when a great run and cross down the right by John Powell was finished by Trae Cook in the middle.
Basingstoke retook the lead when, yet again, Swans list possession playing out from the back.
As for the segregation of the fans, well, I don't think that was necessary and, apparently, we had to have double the number of stewards which cost the club a lot of money.

I'm not against playing it out from the back if you have the players to do it. There seems to be a pattern developing of those who are giving it away with short and loose passes.
At this level we are more likely to get punished and it is far harder to come back. And, whilst on the subject of coming back and scoring goals, why is Eddie Simon on the bench all the time? Whenever he comes on he causes the opposition problems.
There seems to be a lack of speed in breaking as well. Playing a passing game should draw the other team out of position creating gaps for us to capitalise on, this I rarely see.
We are not going to win anything this season, but what would be good to see us improving. As Mike says, we seem to be going backwards at the moment.

Alex Kelly at centre back??? Mitch at right back, and Arsen, who is perfectly capable at CB was available but not even a sub! Madness. They had two chances, two chances we gifted them. Scored both.
When premier league teams who play this style (Liverpool, City etc) conceded from it its collateral damage, part of the βgreater goodβ. However we are conceding more from it than we are scoring.
People say we need a new striker, we need new defenders. WE HAVE NO MIDFIELD. We have a back 4 and a front 6. There is no enforcers, no governors, no one bosses it. Too light weight.
Rant over.

Picking up on the comments...
Agree we give the majority of goals away with this passing out from the back, it needs to be looked at
How many times do we play 7 or 8 pretty intricate passes only with the ball to end up back where it started, with our goal keeper π
ββοΈ
We are so static in midfield, I could hear shouts in the crowd to get it upfield as we linger too long or pass it sideways and backwards all the time
As for Eddie ...use him .. or lose him π

So good you posted it twice Rich π You need to get "negativity" in your posts a little bit more π
Our Club (like any other) are not adverse to fans views when things are going wrong ... just saying !!
That said I fully support the management team and hope they can change things to correct our recent demise

Richard if you think that you are living in cuckoo land, or need a visit to your GP to change your meds π π
I've scrutinised our remaining fixtures and can only see us winning about 5 of them and maybe a couple of draws π
ββοΈ
Hopefully that will be more than enough for us not to be looking down at the relegation spots, (of which) we are only 9 points above at this moment.

It was a decision made by the sports hub who own the ground not the club! It cost places leisure not Walton and Hersham FC!
