Swans 2, Tiverton Town 0
After a pretty drab first half which was lit up by a Nana Owusu free kick superbly saved by the visiting 'keeper Swans turned on the style in the second half scoring twice, having a cast iron penalty turned down, having two goals disallowed and missing a few very presentable chances.
On 55 mins Swans took the lead when Joel Hicks slid in to convert a cross from Nana Owusu.
Owusu made it two in the 85th minute when Eddie Simon was clean through and his shot was parried by the ‘keeper but Nana hit the ball home.

Superb second half display not letting Tiverton rest on the ball at all, every player working really hard to close down and keep Tiverton pinned back, the interplay up front was really good found our confidence again. Just a shame Eddie didn't get a goal he deserved.

Great result. Three wins and three clean sheets on the bounce, on to Tuesday. Come on you Swans 🦢 What was great today was the speed of the build ups and the way the team broke up the visitors attacks and threatened the visitors defence ,all throught the team were ready to play the ball out and John Gilbert and Alex Kelly so much vital to the team ,arsen and Joe pj both superb ,and another good attendence off 512 ,there was loads of bookings late tackles punished and others not so ,over fussy refferee the same one who gave bracknell a goal palmed in net and ruled out 2 goals for swans today ,2 away games at Didcot and Beaconsfield to come in next week ,good luck to swans and to the fans who are going to those 2 matches ,and a mention to some Tiverton fans who don't expect to get home before 9,30 tonight ,

Excellent win. Great calm ball from Eddie to Joe for the opener and nice finish by Nana for the clincher. Missed a hatful but thoroughly enjoyable with some lovely build up’s from the back

So 3 wins on the trot 3 consequtive clean sheets back on the verge of possible playoff involvement how many are still campaigning to remove Scotty and bring in Moyes….because David’s team are playing Southern League football right now

The interplay and link up put wide was a joy to watch and as others have said we pinned them in and relentlessly pressed and harried them. Shame to the see the left back injured as he looked excellent and the new centre back after a shaky start looked excellent. Stan, Eddie, Nana and John were lethal and could have had a hat trick each.

Just did a VAR check: definite penalty; couldn't see why John Gilbert's "goal" was disallowed - maybe handball; Eddie Simon's "goal" was onside!

The second half was great to watch and back to our best . So pleased Eddie was back where he belongs spearheading our attack. He may not be scoring but he was instrumental with both our goals. Well done Eddiie Thought Arsen was solid. No fuss and just gets on with the job and Joe off the bench for a great captains performance. Hey. Look at how our team has changed in recent times with more quality players coming in to strengthen. We have started a winning mentality again after our blip so no excuses not to secure 6 points in our next 2 games. No Pressure😊⚽️🍺

I think the Eddie 'goal' was given offside for John Gilbert earlier in the move - the lino thought he'd joined the Premier League and could wait to see what happened!! Clearly a bad decision and the penalty not given was scandalous, was a rugby tackle!!
