From the Wealdstone club website:
Stones secure the signing of Cook-Appiah
Wealdstone Football Club is excited to confirm the signing of dynamic forward Trae Cook-Appiah, who joins the Stones from Walton & Hersham FC on a deal that extends until the end of the 2024/25 season. Cook-Appiah, 23, has been making headlines in the Southern Football League, where his electrifying pace and prowess in front of goal have marked him as a standout talent outside of the National League. Trae has built a reputation for his exceptional performances on the pitch, characterised by his blistering pace, power agility, and natural goal-scoring instinct. These qualities have made him a key figure at Walton & Hersham, contributing significantly with crucial goals and assists. His move to Wealdstone FC is seen as a coup for the club, enhancing our attacking options in the final stages of the National League campaign and as we build towards next season. Stones manager David Noble expressed his excitement about the new addition to the squad: "Bringing Trae to the club is a fantastic development for us. His abilities as a forward are well-documented, and we believe he has the right attributes to make a big impact here at Wealdstone. He's a young player with tremendous potential, and we're looking forward to integrating him into our side." On joining Wealdstone FC, Cook-Appiah shared his enthusiasm: "I'm really excited to be joining Wealdstone, where there’s some great players and a great management team supporting them. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to develop and progress as a player and really help the team continue to grow and be successful." Cook-Appiah, who will wear squad number 29, joins immediately and is available for selection for our National League fixture away at Woking tomorrow.

That's a shame, but can't exactly stand in his way as they're a National League club. Good luck to him.

Thought he was an impact player more than a 90 minute one. Also didnt feel he was an automatic choice for us with our present team/players at present. Perhaps im being too harsh!

Totally agree and after his substitute performance on Tuesday I’m not that bothered he’s gone, his effort was pretty scandalous

Agree a bit with Hally all those so called weeks out injured was probably trialing for Wealdstone, reminds me of another player who left "for the big time" only to be discarded later but I hope he proves me wrong, but I won't shed a tear players come and go all the time

Watched the Woking v Wealdstone highlights …game at National league is definaetly quicker…Woking should have won creating a hat load of chances …as for Trae…he got some game time nothing outstanding but not out of place and I am sure the money at National League is a lot more than Walton can pay….Wealdstone have an average attendance of around 1500 ..best wishes to the lad did his job got noticed and moved up a couple standards

They also signed two other strikers right after him - can’t see why they bothered signing him then!!!
