This was a fine away win for the Swans at Poole Town on a heavy, bobbly pitch that on one side resembled a bog and with a strong, cold wind blowing across the ground. An excellent team performance with Tyla, Josh and Johl outstanding.
On 19 minutes Swans took the lead when a nice move down the right was crossed in for Alex Kelly to gleefully head home.
Swans made it 2-0 in the 35th minute when a great ball from Nana Owusu put Stan Flaherty through and he scored with aplomb.
Poole pulled one back on 57 minutes when Swans passed the ball to them and Tyla slipped in the mud as he went to save.
Swans regained their two goal cushion in the 84th minute when Anis Nuur found possession out on the left and went around the outside of his man and slammed the ball in with his left foot.

Great to win on Saturday good quality goals on what looked bad pitch ,how many fans went on Saturday, kept up on twitter ,saw pools manager no mention of swans typical manager of opposition ,great win and still up there challenging in battle for play off position ,swans won't give up on to next Saturday and another match ,can't waite ,more games in mid week hope for decent weather to get matches played ,whatever happens ,play offs if they happen wonderful if not weve been up there despite the predictable comments from the odd few who should no better ,the challenge on tyla was pathetic and fully deserved sending off ,no more moaning from me ,

Could be a big one at Merthyr in a couple of weeks-probably the defining match!

Clive Merthyr have 2 games in hand on us, but from Waltons point of view yes, a huge game especially if we win in between as well 💪

The Merthyr is our Cup Final and a successful visit may just get us in the play offs. They have some difficult games ahead too. Thought John and Toby were outstanding yesterday. Dissapoined with Poole but we played well and could have had another2-3 goals. Love Eddie but he seems to have lost cinfidence at present but keep doing the right things and you will continue to be a great asset for the rest of our season. Another difficult game for us on Saturday but we are starting to get our Mojo back.

Merthyr are away to Plymouth on Thursday then away to Salisbury on Saturday, 48 hours later. That’s their games in hand and I can see them getting 1 point out of them. They are on a terrible run of 6L and 1D in the last 8. Hally disagrees with me but I think the top 4 will remain the top 4, but 5th is for us or Merthyr.
