The Swans won a thrilling, entertaining game eventually coming out on top after again shooting themselves in the foot.
Six minutes had gone when a Didcot player smashed the ball into a swans hand: penalty! Tyla Dickinson made a fantastic save to keep it evens.
Swans took the lead in the 17th minute when a lovely move found Nana Owusu in the centre and he poked the ball home.
Didcot equalised in the 41st minute with a spectacular goal, their forward cutting in from the left and hitting a tremendous shot into the far corner.
Three minutes into the second half Swans were awarded a fortuitous penalty duly put away by Stan Flaherty.
Didcot equalised again in the 68th minute when Swans gifted them the ball deep in their own half and the Didcot man strode forward and planted the ball past Dickinson.
Swans retook the lead in the 76th minute when a great run by Flaherty was finished off by Johl Powell running in to convert Stan’s cross.
In the 89th minute Swans made it 4-2 with a lovely goal by Cam Thompson when he was found on the left and curled a beauty into the far corner from about 20 yards.

Fantastic result and truly deserved. We should have finished it off in the first half, but where would the excitement be in that?
Good to see Merthyr drew, I was hoping for Salisbury to get a late goal and that would have really opened it up. However, next week is the big one. We must not lose, a win would be a bonus, but we must not lose. I am banking on Merthyr dropping some points that'll enable us to catch them.
It's all to play for!

I can't imagine Walton will ever get a softer penalty. I thought the ref was poor today and that was one of his poorest decisions. Still, got to take the luck when it comes.

A win is a win is a win though against a team that’s shipped almost 80 goals this season not over convincing…as stated above the continuing desire to self destruct has not even close to being dealt with
Thought back 4 and goalkeeper did ok …..meidfield bit better than previous weeks though the 2 in the centre perpetually broke up Walton possession with poor passes and awful first touches…until the subs came on the front man was useless
Didcot scored a great first goal the second came from a home free kick to the right of defensive midfield …no one seemed to know what to do until eventually the ball was given away and they scored
Of course at this level teams have weak links …right now the overall team work was far better in October and November than the last few weeks
Didcot are bottom of the league for a reason but gosh did they ever work hard for 75 mins…despite a goalkeeper who isn’t good enough and a right back who had the turning circle of the Titanic
Good 3 points today the trip to Wales next weekend will be interesting and coming back down the M4 with anything other than a lump of Merthyr coal will be a huge positive…I will congratulate those providing the live stream which is excellent…though I do confess to killing the sound…it’s a pity they don’t do replays because I did want to see that Penalty given to Walton again ….thought the ref was incredibly Timid and way out of his depth at this level
One point out of the playoffs and the Easter bunny already has its head poking out of the Warren …..giddy heights

I thought a pretty decent performance overall. Stan was excellent but I felt we should have used him more as the full back he was up against couldn’t cope with him. Nana led the line really well and opened up so much space. We looked far more incisive and with a little more composure in another day could have been six or seven.
Cam Thompson could be a real find and is different to other strikers we have.
Goughy was great today and strode into Midfield to great effect today which again created many opening. I’m a real fan of Josh Tobin and I hope we can keep hold of him as he gets through so much work in that midfield role and starts so many attacks.

This is the time off the season when you take any desicion that comes your way ,I throught it was a penalty after that shambles of a desicion in last home game and if we make playoffs great ,Didcot proved after the season theyve had are not giving up and will continue to fight to the end ,big matches to come and points to play for and good luck to those who are going to merthyr next weekend and 3 points for swans ,
