This is not my forum although, as someone said to me on Monday, I seem to have it all to myself! As whoever it was who set this forum up said, it needs input from everyone to make it work. I'm getting embarrassed about the number of postings I make compared to anyone else. There seems to be plenty of viewers but hardly anyone seems to want to say anything. Why? This is not the old forum where a lot of people gave up sounding their opinions. We need more input if for no other reason than to make it more interesting. I, myself, don't want to comment on certain things for the sake of the club but let's have some more chat about the football. The team is now playing more "football" than we've seen for many a year. We've all been watching "hoof it" for too long. Or don't you think?

Quite right Eddie. Only managed to get to one game so far this season and that was the one at Corinthian Casuals on Saturday. We played better football there than i've seen Swans play in years - granted it's the best playing surface in the league which helps, but we played them off the park. If we had taken our chances we could've humiliated them. Will be difficult to play that sort of football at the Lane though, with 3/4 of the ground fenced off and the pitch ending up like a ploughed field!
It's been a good start - bit of a shame we lost to Casuals but playing with 10 men is never easy.

checking in... remember we are unbeaten when we have 11 men on the pitch :-)
Nice cup run would help confidence, attendance and general atmosphere around the club. COYS

Eddie, your comments are really appreciated and all reports on games etc. Please keep them coming. One of the reasons I set this forum up was I am out and about through work a lot that makes it very difficult for me to get to games. The reports you send through are informative and help provide and maintain an interest for the club for many people as I think a lot of the people on this forum live away from Walton and may be in a similar situation.
I agree it would be great to have input from others on here and in fact crucial in order for this forum to survive and hopefully thrive. As you said there are few restriction and all views are welcomed. I only ask that respect is shown.
So it would be something if each member of the forum could make a post once a week even if just to wish the lads good luck for up and coming games.
