Good luck to the Swans at Waltham Abbey would be great to have a good cup run. It has been a while.

Looking at Abbey's record this season - 28 for, 27 against - you suspect there'll be some goals at any rate. With a strengthened squad it feels winnable for us, not least because they could only just sneak a draw against the bottom team on Wednesday night. Our supporters might outnumber theirs too...

What a let down! Very disappointing showing from the Swans. What has happened to all that lovely football we were playing early in the season? We have become one paced and predictable. Today we played two tall players up front so you can guess where the ball spent a lot of time! We seemed. To be playing much deeper than normal - a strange-looking formation with MacLeod at the back and Kazi - the quickest player on the park - employed at wing.back but playing very deep. A new keeper today and a new centre forward (don't know their names). They scored first from a cross headed in by their lead scorer (Peagram) who was left all alone in the centre of the goal. We equalised immediately and an even first half ended 1-1. We started the second half strongly and Waltham Abbey were relying on long punts upfield. From one of these their little left winger outpaced our cumbersome defenders and lobbed our keeper superbly. From there it was all downhill I'm afraid. As I said, very disappointing! By the way, the language from both dugouts was extremely industrial!

Very very poor. Watching walton is not an enjoyable experience at the moment. Putting me off going to games at the moment.

Agree, extremely disappointing. Not sure who our team was: no programmes, guy at gate offered to print me one and give it to me at half-time... Felt we were better in first half and felt cautiously confident, but everything seemed to become aimless after that. It's a long grim season ahead, roll on 2014/15.

Julian Owusu-Bekoe is the new No. 9 - just found it on the Ryman website. Will have to wait for Merv's report to find out who the goalkeeper was! I think we need some new defenders - ones who know their their limitations and play to them! Also, if we are going to play with big guys up front the we need wide men who can cross the ball! The best crosser of the ball we have had at the club for years was left on the bench for most of the match yesterday. Our goal yesterday came from someone(?) getting to the byeline and putting in a decent cross - maybe the only time in the game we managed that!

He'll never be able to field his first choice team because, unless things change, we're always going to have suspensions!

Very disappointing once again..no sign of the spirit we showed in the Leatherhead draw! Defence looked wobbly and uncertain and yet again no cutting edge up front! Was a game we could and should have been able to win but several key players unable to move out of first gear! Discipline and self belief need to quickly improve, we are potentially good enough to do so much better thats the ironic thing! Quite right Eddie, we are not getting down the wings enough and getting crosses in.
