Due to the fact that Walton and Hersham FC have closed the forum or Walton and Hersham FC Message Board on the official site I thought we would create our own. Here fans will be allowed to express their views without censorship. Keeping it sensible of course.
Spread the word.

Why did they close the forum on the main site, does anyone know?
It was the only part of the site that provided information. As I can't get to many of the games that was a great way of keeping informed with the scores etc.

Thanks for your thanks guys but its not really needed. I have done this because I have a great passion for the club and like to keep up to date with all the goings on.
To keep the forum active, especially in it early days, it needs a lot of interaction between the members who have signed up. So keep active with your thoughts and posts is the best repayment that will ensure this forum grows in to a great place to discuss and be kept updated with information about the club.
Also if everyone can get someone else to join the site and each of those new members gets someone else to join we will very soon have a great and interactive community.

I've joined so that I can hopefully answer any questions you have. And help in communication between supporter and the club. However we have to be very careful who reads the information on this forum. Especially when we are trying to fight for Stompond Lane, for the following reasons I sent to Eddie. (Eddie you have been a little economical with the truth) it's a shame you have not met up yet for a discussion as invited
Firstly regarding why the message board was closed down on the website.
1. The content associated on message board gives a very bad reflection on the club.
2. When meeting the council during the Stompond Lane consultation it was clear that they were using the message board as a reference on the club
3. Walton and Hersham FC the future is to become a Community club in line with the FA in the area in Elmbridge
4. When meeting the FA it was clear on their perception of the club and supporters and I have to say it was not great! The message board was referenced
5. Assurances have been made with the FA, a manager was sacked In November due to his bad sportsmanship and representation of the club.
Representation of the club is key for the committee and board members, managers, players and supporters. There is a code of conduct for all again in line with the FA. What has gone onto the message board in the past does not follow that.
To finish the club is moving on, in the right way FA way to bring new young fans to the ground.
Lastly I personally would like to thank all supporters during my time in charge of the 1st team. I hope you all get behind the club and trust the way forward.

I take great exception to the implication that I am not telling the truth. I have never been a liar and never will be. You are typical of the arrogant attitude that is befouling our club. I have been supporting Walton and Hersham for nearly 50 years and have never experienced such a depressing atmosphere around the club as there is at the moment. You say you invited me to meet with you, which is true, but you mentioned a specific date and in my reply I told you I had no plans to visit Stompond Lane on that particular day. You should not be posting messages like that if you don't want people to get a bad impression of the club! After all, aren't you the Deputy Chairman? I don't want to get into a slanging match with you but if you make accusations like that then I will!

I have put on this message board the facts which I purposely sent to you so you understood and could share. As Deputy Chairman I will go on this message board and give supporters the facts as much as I can. I will also on the website post a monthly report as I have been. (one due this week) since i took on the role. Regards
